The Discovery of the Temple of Mithras

    • In 1954, archaeologists discovered a Roman temple buried beneath London's bustling streets. Experts investigated and the temple was dedicated to Mithras, a mysterious Roman god popular with soldiers. This short film shows you what happened to the things discovered in the temple in 1954.
